Hi Qantaslink
Your baggage service for disembarkation at Horn Island is now terminally slow! It took 30 mins to collect bags today. It looks like you only have 2 baggage handlers rostered on…one in the aircraft and the other at the bottom of the conveyor. After unloading all the bags the team then load all the outbound bags before delivering the inbound.
An extra person would mean the bags would be delivered in half the time. It would also mean an extra job for a Torres Strait person – a vital way to support the community.
For your consideration.
I travelled on a D8 yesterday from Brisbane to Canberra. When exiting my window seat, my scarf caught on the 1/2 velcro strips still on the seats from when they had head/hair protectors years ago. This morning as I threw this favourite scarf out (now unusable) I am still mad as hell. It did not have a great dollar value, but, it was of great sentimental value to me. I noticed in this day and age of wearing scarves another woman on the flight had the same problem. and a man caught the front of his jumper on the velcro. Gee I would just like a reply.
Disgruntled
I posted on your consumer notice board a serious complaint regarding a QANTAS staff member.
After a flight earlier this week I visited a restaurant in Sydney where I recognised flight attendant from my flight earlier. She was still wearing her uniform and under the influence of an illegal substance being very obnoxious.
I made conversation with your staff member who joked about QANTAS staff needing party drugs to stay alert.
I find this behaviour extremely disturbing and expect drug testing should be a standard used to control who is left in charge of your customer safety.
Very disgusted ex customer.
