Through the Affordable Care Act, millions receive access to hospitalization, maternity and newborn care, emergency services, ambulatory services, prescription drugs, laboratory services, pediatric services, preventive and wellness services, rehabilitative services, among others. Through the Affordable Care Act, parents can also keep kids on their insurance until they are age 26.

You can apply for Washington Apple Health through the Healthplanfinder online. On the Healthplanfinder, you can research on the health plans available in your area and even search for a provider. Each plan has a network of doctors, clinics, and other providers. The five health plans currently found include Amerigroup Washington, Community Health Plan of Washington, Coordinated Care of Washington, Molina Healthcare of Washington and United Health Care Community Plan. You can also view the managed care plans available based on where you live. The prepaid system includes preventive, primary, specialty and ancillary health services. You can change your Apple Health managed care plan any time.

On Washington Healthplanfinder homepage you can apply for coverage easily after creating an account. You have to add all your household members even if they are not seeking coverage. It then will require you furnish resident information, income details, among others. Once you have entered all the information, the platform will show you the eligibility status for each household member. Those accepted will receive a Services Card in less than two weeks.
