About UnitedHealthcare Community Plan
unitedhealthcare community plan customer service
UnitedHealthcare Community Plan is a state approved health plan for members eligible for Medicaid benefits. The plans are insured through Minneapolis-based UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company. It is currently one of the largest provider of Medicaid, serving more than 40 million across the US.

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan offers coverage to pregnant mothers, children up to age 19, low-income adults and families and seniors who qualify for Medicaid. Plans have different names in each region. To name a few are UnitedHealthcare Dual Complete, UnitedHealthcare Personal Assist, NJ FamilyCare, Alliance, UnitedHealthcare Dual Advantage, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan for Families, Care Improvement Plus Dual Advantage, Centennial Care, among others.

On the website you can filter plans by state. The plans offer a choice of doctors and hospitals, in addition to prescription drugs. Some of the plans come with a Heath Products Debit Card that credits money monthly to buy health products. There is also transportation coverage, preventive services, emergency care and hearing coverage.

Enrollment in the plan depends on the plan’s contract renewal with Medicare. This plan is available to anyone who has been accepted for Medicare. On the website, one can also submit new application, read the benefits and even look up for doctors and pharmacies nearest to your address. Medicare does not bear deductibles, premiums, coinsurance or copayments.

If you are a health care professional, you can offer your services through the UnitedHealthcare Community Plan. Registered providers can use the tool here to verify member eligibility, review benefits and coverage limits, submit claims, check claim status, among others.

For more information or queries on new application, benefits, membership ID card, or others, reach the UnitedHealthcare Community Plan customer service. You can also place a complaint directly through the official Medicare website.
