About Thorpe Park
Thorpe Park is a popular theme park in Surrey, UK, that is owned and operated by Merlin Entertainment. Opened in the year 1979, the park is spread across 490 acres and boasts of more than 30 rides and attractions. Located just 20 miles away from Central London, the Thorpe Park welcomes close to 2 million visitors each year.
Some of the highlights at the theme park is the winged rollercoaster The Swarm, Stealth (tallest and fastest coaster), Nemesis Inferno (coaster), Colossus (ten looping rollercoaster), Timber Tug Boat, Lumber Jump, Rush, Samurai, Quantum, Zodiac, Vortext, to name a few. There are also water rides such as Loggers Leap, Rumba Rapids, Storm Surge, Tidal Waveand Depth Charge. Other highlights include a 4D cinema and a small beach area called Amity Beach.
