I applied for an equity line of credit almost a month ago, 3/21. Instead of being ready to close on the loan, I am being asked to close existing credit cards that have been paid in full, have not been asked to verify any additional income… and am dealing with a loan officer that takes days to respond back and sounds unprofessional and disinterested on the phone. On top of the issues with this loan, my checking account has been hacked twice within the last month, including the bank issuing a debit card to someone who has been accessing our checking account. Our experience with TD bank has been a nightmare. We will be closing our accounts as soon as the fraud issue is resolved and taking our business elsewhere.
