Hello- I am writing this in hopes it will find its way to “THE POWERS THAT BE.” I was a Boutique Lady in the Corpus Christi, Tx store for over 9 years before re-locating to Georgetown, Tx. My one disappointment in my new hometown was that there is not a Steinmart. The closest one is in Round Rock Tx and is very difficult to get to as it is in a bad location for getting in and out of. As a former employee who knew the customer base we attracted, I can say that Steinmart would be missing out on a golden opportunity if you don’t seize the chance to open up a store here. In the 9 years I have lived here, our population has grown from 25,00 to over 65,000 and the prediction is we will hit 130,00 by 2030. We have a huge prosperous retirement community as well as a small university. Another big plus is that APPLE is building a huge facility in this very county. Trust me, we don’t have decent shopping here at this point and the market is wide open. The other day, I was with several friends from various parts of the country which had Steinmarts in their town and we were all lamenting on how much we miss our FAVORITE store. Hope you will take our plea under serious consideration.
