About Six Flags America
Six Flags America is a theme park located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. It was first opened as Largo Wildlife Preserve in the year 1974. Set in an area of 523 acres, the theme park boasts of more than 100 rides, including some of the most thrilling roller coasters. The list of rides at Six Flags America include roller coasters and water slides such as Apocalypse, BATWING Coaster, Bahama Blast, Bonzai Pipelines, Bourbon Street Fireball, Buccaneer Beach, Dare Devil Dive, Flying Carousel, Halfpipe, Hurricane Bay, Tornado, Vortex and Wild One.
Visitors to the park have plenty of dining and shopping options besides the many attractions. From burgers, desserts, pizzas to Asian food, Six Flags America has food that will satisfy all cravings. On most days the park is open from 10.30am to 7pm, weekends it goes till 9pm.
