I am trying to get hold of sevylor direct by e-mail. I bought a canyon canoe over a year ago and it has let in water ever since we have had it, my sister bought a colorado and this does not let in water. The company that she bought hers through said there was a design fault with the canyon, unfortunately by then the company we purchased the canoe off (inflatable everything went into liquidation so therefore we had no come back, they gave me a name of another company and they said they can not help us either. We now have a rip in the bottom which we need to mend and wonder if there is anything we can put on to the seam to stop it leaking and wondering if you can send us a larger patch to cover the rip. We are very dissapointed in our canoe, my sister has had no problems at all. Unfortunately when people stop us and ask us about Seveylor we have to say that there is a design fault and we cannot get any help with this, which I think is a shame as we think the idea is really good. I feel that we should have had this problem pointed out to us at the time, as when my sister purchased her canoe from another source at the same time they already new about the problem so I am sure your company and the company that sold her directly also new this. We paid full price for the canoe so therefore feel it should have been fit for purpose.
Yup, same issue with the Sevylor Canyon and likewise found it impossible to get any reply from customer services. The company were well aware of the design fault (which they have since attempted to correct) but, rather than recall the item, which is unfit for the purpose intended, they continued to sell it regardless. As a result, I strongly advise against purchasing any Sevylor product.
