About Serpentine National Park
Serpentine National Park is a popular national park with rugged mountains and beautiful flora and fauna in Australia. It is about an hour’s drive from Perth and is located on Darling Scarp. The park is spread across 4,387 hectares and is managed by WA Department of Parks and Wildlife. Established in 1957, the park is popular for its scenic features. It is open from 8.30am to 5pm daily.
There are some 70 to 100 bird species known to live on the Darling Scarp. You could also spot grey kangaroos, echidna, mardo, quenda, brushtail possum and brush-wallaby. For picnic and walking trails, explore the Serpentine Falls. There is an entry fee for visitors to access the park. Day entry passes can be purchased at all parks. Camping fees are separate.
