About Scitech
Scitech Discovery Centre is a science education centre located in Perth, Western Australia. A popular tourist attraction, the place is visited by more than 500,000 each year, including school and college students. Scitech was established in 1988 and operates as a not-for-profit organisation.
Scitech is open on all days from 9.30am to 4pm. Adult tickets cost $19, while children tickets will cost $12. Those under 4 years can enter for free. The tickets include access to the Scitech planetarium, science and puppet shows and exhibition entry. Tickets can also be purchased online and are valid for three months from date of purchase. Members of the Scitrekkers enjoy unlimited access, in addition to discounts on products and programs.
Some of the shows at the Planetarium include We Are Aliens, To Space and Back, Dream to Fly, Tilt Years, and Dark Universe. The multimedia shows are about the solar system, sky, and beyond. The facilities available at Scitech include a first aid room, accessible toilet and undercover car parking.
