Wouldn’t it be fairer to make the same monetary offers to their on line grocery customers. Surely their patronage is of equal value to their profits.
I stay in Glasgow and use the Sainsbury in Muirend. I have used this store for over 30 years as it changed hands. On the 29th April 2023 I was in shopping. ( I have long covid and my health is struggling) I got to the till and Anne who has been there for years and who I know well ‘saw’ me and could see I was struggling and in a lot of pain. This meant so much. She is an amazing person. Then as I went to leave the store my natural yoghurt fell off of my trolley. Doesn’t seem much but it was the end for me. A young member of staff walked in the door just about to start her shift. She sorted getting things cleaned and organised me getting a replacement. I am so very grateful.
I live in Enfield and I shop at your branch in Lancaster road. I want to commend a lovely assistant Magda who has always a smile on her face. Magda goes the extra mile to help you especially the elderly. I had a heavy bag and she asked someone on the door to carry it to my car I am nearly eighty. A customer in front of me said I will do it I’m going there. Two people with big hearts. Please recognise her in some way.
