About Philippines Passport Appointment System
The Philippines’ Department of Foreign Affairs is responsible for issuing passports and travel documents. It operates a passport appointment system to facilitate smoother and faster passport applications. Applicants can pay their processing fees through payment centers nationwide using cash or debit/credit card. Authorised payment centers include Bayad Center, EcPay, Pera Hub, Waltermart Dept Store, Western Union and Robinson’s Business Center and Dept Stores.

For appointments, applicants need to access the ‘Schedule an Appointment’ tab on the website. If no appointment slots are shown, it means the slots are fully taken up. It is mandatory for all applicants to secure an appointment. Personal appearance is required for all applicants. Also, the applicants must be present 30 minutes earlier on their selected date and time of appointment.

Valid IDs that must be carried while applying for passport include social security system card, driver’s license, voter ID, school ID, senior citizen ID, to name a few. The procedures and documents remain same for passport renewal as well. Senior citizens, pregnant women and people with disabilities can take advantage of the Courtesy Lane Facility without the need of an online appointment.

When scheduling an appointment, you can specify if it is for an individual or group. You will be asked to input details of place, date, time, personal and family information. Passport appointments online do not carry any fee. Citizens can also choose to apply for passports in the Philippines from any of the regional consular or satellite offices. Those residing outside Philippines can approach nearest Philippine embassy or consulate for assistance. You can locate a consular office in your city online.

An online appointment is necessary for even lost passports. If your passport is lost or stolen, you would also need to submit a police report and affidavit of loss. As for passport processing fees, the details for both new applications and renewal are available on the website. If you need faster delivery of passport, you can can choose the expedited processing option. For more information or queries on new applications, payment, refund, cancellation, application status, or others, reach the DFA support.
