I made an appointment with PEPBOYS last Thursday at 9am. I am a Army Veteran with PTSD and 100%. I sat there for 2 hours and they did not even look at my car. When i asked about it they said it won’t be for another 2 to 4 hours. That pissed me off. That’s when someone went out to look at my car. One of them came in and said that the battery was died and said that it will cost me $125 for a new one. But they where going to take $5 off for me waiting. I went out to get in my car to leave. They did give me a new battery for free. But they did not look at anything else on my car. So how would I get a list today in my text saying that another thing on my car needs to be fixed. Didn’t even check to see if the alternator was bad. Just put a new battery in it. Not very happy with what they did.
Pep boys service center on 31st and Allegheny is very unprofessional. Had my car for several days to do a basic job that take less than a day. Will never return there and I highly recommend anyone who reads this does not visit. Terrible customer service 1/10
Pepboys had my vehicle for a whole week and lied they were working on it 2/21/22 but they weren’t. My vehicle is lying there untouched. Someone from corporate office need to go to these stores undercover especially the one in Annapolis, Maryland.
I came one day cause the air conditioner was blowing hot air.. I was told it would cost $550 to fix. I paid for the inspection they did and left. Went to autozone bought some stop leak and a bottle of recharge for $80 and air conditioner works just fine. Today I came for an oil change price $56. Service man calls me to the counter and tells me about some plates that need to be changed , cost $600. I told him to just give me my oil change and that’s it. I just want to add that as long as I live, I will never come back to pep boys. I was at your store in Ponce PR
I spent a lot of money on my car with Pep Boys on Decker Blvd and my last couple of visits I was treated very unprofessionally. One of my tool boxes in my truck was stolen and they moved a wire and my car would not hardly run I made it to the red light and turned around and went back and told them to put the wire back where they removed it from. This is a very poor run store every time I went back for something they were always too busy. They had me come one day at opening and sit outside then when they opened they told me they would not be able fix my car that day and were RUDE!
