About Mu Ko Chang National Park
Mu Koh Chang National Park is a marine national park established in the year 1982. Spread across 620 sq mts, the park includes more than 52 islands. It is an ideal place for a stroll, swim, or go snorkeling or diving underwater. The offices are located around Baan Klong Kloi, Klong Plu Waterfall, between White Sand Beach and Klong Son Bay, and outside of Baan Salak Phet.

Visitors to the park can explore the museum, dine at the restaurant or try out camping in tents. Located close to the border of Cambodia, the park has several summits that include Khao Lan, Khao Chom Prasat, Khao Khlong Mayom, Khao Salak Phet and Khao Yai. Measuring 30km long, the Ko Chang island is the third largest in Thailand after Phuket and Samui.

The Mu Koh Chang National Park holds a rich natural heritage with diverse flora and fauna. Some of the commonly found reptiles and animals found include Malayan mud turtle, Indian monitor lizard, python, racer, rat snake, king cobra, asiatic toad, green ricefield frog, among others. Some of the attractions at the park include the Than Mayom Waterfall, Sai Yao Beach, Khlong Phlu WaterFall, Non Si Waterfall, Khiri Petch Waterfall, Kai Bae Beach, Wai Island, Lao Ya Island and Rang Island.
