About Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is a sanctuary for koalas in Brisbane, Australia. Located in Fig Tree Pocket, Queensland, the sanctuary is spread across 44 acres. The wildlife reserve was established in the year 1927. It is a popular tourist attraction for those in Australia as well as visitors from across the world.
The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is open from 9am to 5pm, seven days a week. Visitors will be able to see over 130 koalas and even hand feed kangaroos. Other animals and birds you can spot include wombat, perentie, dingo, bats, echidna, platypus, brush-tail possum, parrots and eagles. As for entry, you will need to purchase a ticket. There is a child, adult and family daily pass available for purchase. You also have annual passes for unlimited entry. Visitors enjoy free parking, public bus service, free WiFi, mobile recharging stations, wheelchair/stroller hire, disabled toilets, onsite cafes and eating spots and gift shops.
