About La Sagrada Familia
La Sagrada Familia is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Barcelona, Spain, visited by millions of tourists each year. It is a Roman Catholic Church that commenced in 1882 by architect Francisco Paula de Villa. It was designated as a minor basilica in 2010. Surprisingly, La Sagrada Familia is still not complete despite the involvement of several architects. As of 2015, La Sagrada Familia is estimated to be 70% complete. The church is officially called as Basilica I Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia.
Sagrada Familia is open on most days from 9am to 7pm. The main access is on C/Marina, in front of the Nativity facade. Guided visits are available for individuals and groups. Booking must be made at least 15 days in advance for a specialised guide. Children under 11 enter the Basilica free. There are discounted tickets available for students and senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance or avoid all the hassles and book the same online. You can also book a guide, audio guide or tower visit online. I had a very enjoyable and inspirational visit to the Sagrada Familia yesterday and was impressed at the beauty of the building and at how courteous, efficient and respectful your staff were.
However, can I suggest that your security staff don’t parade around the alter and under the cross. I understand that security must be crucial to protecting the building and the public these days but such an insensitive and unthinking presence in a sensitive and thoughtful area seemed intensely uncomfortable and spoils contemplation, let alone many thousand memorable photographs.

I purchased tickets for the tower tour on 14/05/2018, Reservation Number 14140170 for myself, wy wife and my son. Unfortunately, my wife could not take the tower tour because she is unable to climb down the stairs from the top. We were
