About Kajaria Ceramics
Kajaria Ceramics was established in 1988 by Ashok Kumar Kajaria in Kanpur and it is chiefly focussed towards the production of glazed and unglazed floor and wall tiles. The company also entered in a technical collaboration with Todagres S. A., Spain under which the company gained technical expertise and training for its employees for the manufacturing process of tiles. At present, the company is the largest producer of ceramic/ vitrified tiles in India. The company’s 7 manufacturing plants in Sikandrabad, Gailpur, Morbi and Vijaywada together have a capacity of producing 43.60 million square metres of tiles annually. The company has crossed a turnover of Rs 1700 crore in the financial year 2012-2013. Kajaria is also involved in the export of its products to 20 countries of the world.
The products manufactured and marketed by the company are as follows:
1.    Ceramic Wall and Floor Tiles – These are available in a wide range of designs and prices. New designs are introduced often in Digital Exterior tiles, Digital Floor tiles, Digital Highlighter and Digital Wall tiles.
2.    Polished Vitrified Tiles – These state of the art tiles are manufactured in various styles like double charged, elegant soluble salt, Marbella, Orion, Premium, Solitaire, Soluble Salt, Special Plain and Super Premium.
3.    Glazed Vitrified Tiles – These are available is sizes like 60 x 120 – The Size, 80 x 80 – The Square and in styles like Eternity HD and HD Wood.
4.    Vitrified Paving Tiles – Vitrified Paving Tiles are designed such that they provide an elegant finish to exterior floor surfaces when used.
5.    European Tiles – They are manufactured keeping in mind the international designs and quality focussing on providing an excellent wall and floor texture.
6.    Wooden Flooring – These give consumers a shift from the orthodox style of using tiles for floors instead providing a sophisticated and global look.
Other than tiles and flooring options, Kajaria also deals in sanitary ware and fittings in various collections like Freedom, Istanbul, MOD, T4 and Options Lux. Bathroom products include washbasins, WC pan, bidets, urinals and urinal separators. Adhesive and grouts for ceramic and vitrified tiles are also manufactured and sold by the company.
