The rapid transit system operates 2 lines connecting to more than 17 stations across Helsinki, Finland. Operated by the Helsinki City Transport, the transit system annually carries more than 62 million passengers. Managed by Helsinki City Transport (HKL), the metro begins services at 5.30 am and ends at 11.30pm (weekdays).

Metro Line 1 connects commuters from Ruoholahti to Vuosaari.
