FrontRunner is a commuter rail train in Utah, established in the year 2008. Owned by Utah Transit Authority (UTA), FrontRunner operates on 1 line and connects to 17 stations. Major stations include Provo Central, Orem Central, American Fork, Lehi, Draper, South Jordan, Murray Central, Salt Lake Central, North Temple Stations, Woods Cross, Farmington, Layton, Clearfield, Roy, Ogden and Pleasant View. FrontRunner transports over 18,000 commuters each day.
FrontRunner’s basic fare starts at $2.50. There are One Way tickets as well as weekly/monthly passes. For convenient travel, you can try the Premium Pass which can be used for a month on buses, TRAX, Streetcar and FrontRunner. There are discounted rates available for senior citizens and students.
