About Formula One
Formula One is a widely popular motorsport that was first introduced in 1950. Also known as Formula 1 or F1, the single-seater auto racing is managed by the Formula One Group. The races in the motorsport are called Grand Prix. The cars, made of up of 80,000 components, can easily attain speeds of 200 mph. Constructed at an average cost of 6.8mn USD, an F1 engine usually revs up to 18,000 rpm, nearly 900 horsepower. All riders taking part in the race must have a FIA Super Licence. It is said that a Formula One driver loses 4 kilos of weight at the end of a Grand Prix race. For some more facts, most Formula One circuits are between 4 and 6 kilometres long. To increase downforce, the car is fitted with wings, diffuser, end plates and barge boards.
Every team participating in a grand prix is made up of two drivers, a team boss, technical director, chief aerodynamicist, chief designer, among others. Would it be possible to add 10 points to the scoring for race wins? The driver who finishes 20th gets 1 point, 19th gets 2 points and so on. 10th position becomes 11 points. First position becomes 35 points. I’m sure you get the picture. Some of the drivers finish most of the races but walk away with 0 points at the end of the season. How are they able to monitor and improve the following year and how do you keep them motivated if they finish all the races at the end of the season and have ZERO points?
I was an ardent fan of F1 for more years than I can remember, It saddens me to say this, I will never watch F1 again, I don’t care who wins an F1 race as long as it’s a won fairly, what transpired in the final F1 race of 2021 has sickened me with the contrived result, but it has been a build-up over the season with one driver in particular bullying his way past drivers who conceded track position rather than get wiped out, no sporting integrity in F1 anymore, when that’s gone I’m gone.
Millions will never watch F1 again. Share the championship at least – it was handed on a silver platter to one team. This is not just and not in accordance with the rules. The sport will lose at least 50% of its fan base if this is not dealt with for 2021 current season. Don’t leave it for next season, fix this result.
Millions of people around the world are disgusted with how that title was decided. If this doesn’t get sorted F1 will never be the same again. You can’t decide a title fight like that. I was a fairly new fan but as an engineer, I can comprehend a rule book since I routinely publish them myself. There is no ambiguity here, and you should be ashamed of how this has played out and work to correct this injustice. It’s clear that the current leadership is weak and inadequate for the job.
I can’t tell you how disappointed I am in Sunday’s race results. There is absolutely no way The Ferrari driver could have possibly done anything different. Where was he supposed to drive to the coming off the grass. It was obvious he did nothing but try to gain control. Have you tried to drive across grass at that speed. I am beyond disappointed with this decision. YOU ARE RUINING THIS SPORT!!

I am a big fan of F1 and would like to put in a suggstion following the 2021 race calender.
I would like F1 to come back to South Africa. Kyalami has been redone and is under porsche management. It could be good for South africas tourism and the grid could see the beauty of S.A whst here.
Please consider this and hope you will add S.A to a near future race calender

I know that F1 will be held in Singapore 14-16 Sept 2018, I just wld like to know do you have display the F1 car? If yes, where the location is. Cause I ever seen it many years ago. I wld like to bring my nephew to see the real F1 car if you have display it. Cause he is really like F1 since he is only 3 years old. I really appreciate if I will get the information about it and I can plan the trip. Thank you for yr attention.
