About Ferrari World Abu Dhabi
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is said to be the largest indoor theme park in the world and is owned by the Abu Dhabi government. Over 12,370 tonnes of steel was used to construct the incredible structure. The design is inspired by the profile of the Ferrari GT body. There is a Ferrari logo on the top measuring 65m x 48.5m, the largest Ferrari logo ever created. Opened in the year 2007, the park is operated by Farah Experiences. Spread across 86,000 sq m, the Ferrari World enclosed area is equal to seven football fields. Located on Yas Island, the park boasts of over 20 rides and attractions.
Visitors to the park enjoy some of the most thrilling roller coaster rides they can find in the world. They include Fiorano GT Challenge, Formula Rossa, Mission Ferrari, Flying Aces and Turbo Track. The Formula Rossa in fact is said to be the fastest roller coaster in the world. The rollercoaster will hit speeds of up to 240 km an hour. Visitors to the park can also experience the very same racing simulators used by the Ferrari racing team. Other games and attractions include Junior GT, Fast Lane, Tyre Twist, Speed of Magic, Made in Maranello, Galleria Ferrari, Driving with the Champion, Junior Grand Prix, Bell’Italia, Cinema Maranello, to name a few.
Visitors won’t have to go hungry with the number of dining options available. Restaurants found here include Ristorante Cavallino, Officers Food Quarters, IL Podio, Mamma Rossella and Espresso Rosso. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is open from 11am to 8pm. There are free shuttle services from prime locations at Yas Island. Tickets can be purchased online using major credit cards.
