About Dubai Aquarium
Dubai Aquarium is a major tourist attraction in Dubai and boasts of one of the largest collection of sand tiger sharks in the world. The aquarium, which is a 10 million-litre tank, is located at the third floor of The Dubai Mall. One of the largest suspended aquariums in the world, it contains thousands of aquatic animals, spanning over 140 species, including over 300 sharks and rays. Measuring 51 metres in length and 20 metres in width, there is a 48 metre walk-through Tunnel providing incredible views from below the surface of the aquarium.
Visitors to the Dubai Aquarium can enjoy a glass-bottom boat ride or even go cage-snorkeling. If you enjoy adventure, the shark dive is for you. Some of the aquatic animals you can find here include otters, piranha, humboldt penguins, crocodiles, lionfish, water rats, seahorses and nautilus. The aquarium is open 10am to 11pm, Sunday to Wednesday, and 10am to 12pm from Thursday to Saturday. As for tickets, you have a variety of them to choose from, price starting with AED 100 to AED 200. The annual membership programme will cost AED 250.
