About Discovery Cove
Discovery Cove is a widely-visited amusement park in Orlando, Florida, owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. The park opened in the year 2000 and is popular for the unique activities that include the 30-minute Dolphin Interaction and snorkeling with tropical fish and rays in The Grand Reef. The Explorer’s Aviary is for bird lovers who can enjoy feeding exotic birds. Discovery Cove is open from 9am to 5pm. Note that the park limits attendance to about 1,300 guests per day.
For admission, you can explore the various resort packages listed on the official website. The day resort packages includes meals, drinks, gear and all activities. As or reaching the park, Discovery Cove provides complimentary transportation to and from SeaWorld Orlando as well as Busch Gardens Tampa.
The basic package at Discovery Cove also includes access to the beaches, scenic Wind-Away River, and unlimited admission to SeaWorld and Aquatica, SeaWorld’s Waterpark in Orlando. When booking online, you have the option to add the Shark Swim, SeaVenture, or Ray Feeding. The Shark Swim provides visitors an opportunity to swim alongside several species of sharks.
