About Connections Academy
Connections Academy is a public online school in the US for students in grades K-12. The tuition-free public school is accredited by one of the six regional accrediting agencies, AdvancED. It was established by Sylvan Ventures in the year 2002. Now, it operates as a division of Connections Education LLC, with headquarters at Baltimore, Maryland.
The personalized online school community does not charge for materials or tuition. Connections Academy claims its courses meet all national and state standards. It further provides a platform for students to meet regularly in online LiveLesson sessions to share their ideas and experiences.
As for the curriculum, it includes core courses in maths, science, language arts/English, and social studies for every grade.
