Azerbaijan Airlines was founded in the year 1992. The airline is the flag carrier of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Operating from its main hub at Baku-Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the airline, also known as AZAL, has flights to over 50 destinations.
Within the country, the airline operates flights to Baku, Bandja, Nakhichevan, Gabala and Lankaran. Internationally, it connects several cities in Turkey, Russia, UK, Spain, UK, Germany, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Italy, Ireland, Romania, China, South Korea, Israel, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Dubai, Taiwan, and the US.
