Mobilink was founded by Motorala in the year 1994. It is a leading telecommunications company in Pakistan providing mobile GSM services. Currently, a subsidiary of the Orascom Telecom Holding, Mobilink has more than 31.6 million subscribers and is the largest voice and data network with over 8,000 cell sites. Its brands Jazz and Indigo is the largest prepaid and postpaid brand in the country. Mobilink network covers some 10,000+ cities in addition to roaming in over 140 countries. Orascom has invested US$ 3.3 Billion in the company. Besides Asia, the Egyptian multi-national company has operations in the Middle East, Africa and Canada. Mobilink’s indigo is a postpaid connection that has several packages to choose from. Indigo’s voice and SMS bundles include iTalk and iSMS. Value added services include mobile banking, conference bridge, missed call alerts, voice mail, GPRS and call forwarding. With indigo, every rupee you spend is rewarded. Members can redeem their points at over 1100 partner outlets. For prepaid connections, Mobilink offers Jazz which has packages such as Jazz Jazba, Jazz Budget, Jazz Easy-Old, Jazz Ladies First and Jazz One. Jazz credit can be recharged by either purchasing a Jazz Card, through Jazz Load or by International Recharge. Jazz customers can also subscribe to International Roaming by visiting nearest Mobilink customer care centre or by simply dialing 111. Mobilink also offers Maritime Roaming, Mobile In-Flight Roaming and Hajj Roaming. Bill payments of Mobilink products can be made at Mobilink customer service centers, dealer stores, Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank and Faysal Bank, and ATMs of MNet member banks.
