About Dhiraagu
Dhivehi Raajjeyge Gulhun Plc (Dhiraagu) was founded in the year 1988. It is a joint venture of the Govt. of Maldives and Cable and Wireless Communications. Dhiraagu is currently the national telecommunications carrier and employs close to 650 people in the country. The company, which has invested over MRF 3 billion, offers fixed, mobile, internet and data services.
For prepaid connection, Dhiraagu offers several plans that operate in its GSM digital mobile network. You can get a prepaid connection kit at Dhiraagu mobileshop or its authorized retailer store. Prepaid connections can be refilled through recharge vouchers or reload service that recharges electronically. To activate a recharge voucher press *141* followed by the voucher number. To check account balance press *142#.
For postpaid connection, there are offers such as Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, Bronze and In Touch. Some of the plans offer free minutes and SMS. To use internet, subscribe to Diharaagu mobile internet service through which you can browse, watch videos and send instant messages. Mobile internet can be activated for free. Besides mobile internet, customers can subscribe to value added services such as alerts, ringtones, international calling, call management, conference calling, call forwarding, call waiting, voice mail and more.
