    Hi Guys

I am been dealing with your prepaid team for last 2 months and they are totally useless. I am currently visiting Australia and i lost my phone. Have been trying to get a sim sim card activated on the old number and have been advised this is not possible.

Initially i was advised that if i send a blood relative with all documentation the sim swap will be done, the store refused this. The Airtel team requested for the store details and nothing for a few weeks. then i was advised this can’t be done. After 6 weeks of to and fro i was advised this cant be done. how is this possible that Airtel has made no provisions for this kind of situation.

I am going to approach consumer court for this lack or service from airtel and not trying to help.

In a transferable job we don’t keep changing our address on Aadhar Card as its our permanent and verified address.
However we have purchased a pre paid SIM and keep porting the number to the new place of transfer.
Now how does one go back to the place of purchase of SIM and Link it with different address on Aadhar.

    Dear Customer Care Officer,

I am writing to make two complaints here.

    1. Just about few minutes back I had Rs. 283/- as my account balance. However, When I recharged my account with Rs. 399/- (Having the scheme for unlimited calls, local as well as STd calls + 1 GB 4G internet daily for 84 days, The balance suddenly went to Rs. 1.46P only from Rs. 283/-. I have failed to understand the calculations. Please explain the same to me and please refund the amount to my account if the mistake is on your part.

    2. I re-charged my account with Rs. 399/- after checking that I shall be getting 84 days of unlimited calls (Both local as well as STD) with 1 GB of 4G internet daily. However, when the SMS notification came to my number came, it showed the validity of pack only for 28 days and not 84 days as was advertised with 3 GB per day. Again I need to know what is the confusion here.

Please solve the above two problems. An early reply in this regard will be highly appreciated.

I have taken a SIM card of 449 rs plan free 84 GB data unlimited calling, but there is deduction at normal rates when ever I make a call, and there is no free GB, I tried calling your customer care at various number which are highly confusing and I cannot connect to customer care executive because you have complicated the process to reduce it to a legal formality. Till now my experience with airtel has been very frustrating and annoying.

Airtel customer care postpaid no is invalid. I have lost my phone and tried all possible ways to contact Airtel. If you have such poor service and invalid numbers given in just dial and google, you should shut down the mobile service company.

I would like to share my very bad experience with Airtel. On 29th,March 2017 I made a request to change my number from postpaid connection to prepaid at Airtel Centre Malviya Nagar New Delhi. Despite a delay of several days and several calls to customer care of Airtel, the postpaid connection was not discontinued till 6th April, i.e. more than 9 days of placing request and making several calls. Little did I realise that the real horror was to begin now. The prepaid sim is not activated despite sveral visits to Airtel centre and innumerous calls To so called Customer Care. Whenever I call, the Customer Care executives just drop the line without resolving the issue. Why dont they call it Customer No Care. Otrher service providers are ready to give same number portability within minutes, Why Airtel is giving such poor service to me when I have been holding this number since 2005. Is anybody listening please. Request number to be activated as fast as possible.

Customer care support is very poor, every thing is digitalized that is not enough to resolve all problems. It is very tough to put any query to customer care employee.

I have been charged approx. Rs.50,000 (Rupees Fifty Thousand ) for one or 2 hrs internet usage while roaming during my current visit to Dubai. Strangely when I landed Dubai my number automatically got disconnected /unregistered and when my secretary called Airtel customer care on 27th , 28th & 29th we got the reply that we have to contact and get registered with DU OR ETISALAT NETWORK operator to enjoy roaming services and when i contacted both operators they conveyed that my services were deactivated on 26th December. Finally when we spoke to Indian customer care at 121 we were SHOCKED TO KNOW that in 1 DAY on arrival date 26th Dec.,my bill got generated to approx. Rs. 50,000.00(Rs. Fifty Thousand ) against my credit limit of Rs. 5000.00(Rs. Five thousand only) and they (Airtel India) themselves took decision to disconnect my services without even any intimation or prior warning. Reason given by Airtel Indian Customer care was my 3 g data /GPRS plan was activated till 31rst which is IMPOSSIBLE because we were after airtel from 26th December,2012.

The charge OF Rs.. 50,000.00 (Rs. Fifty Thousand ) in unbilled amount in one day is baseless as it is not possible to use internet without getting registered with Dubai local providers DU & Etisalat. And secondly, if my credit limit was of Rs 5000 then how my bill can be generated for Rs 50,000.00 (Rs. Fifty Thousand in one day of my landing ) and how my data usage can exceed to this much amount. Even when we made request on 22nd to activate roaming no one took initiative to explain us the charges if on ISD Roaming

Why dont your customer care clearly inform people on the charges? Shouldnt they warn and inform when the amount exceeds the limit? And they even froze my account now. The bill is three times more than my air ticket to Dubai. I am completely shocked.
