    mobiles are for voice communication. but we want everything on it, then we have to suffer. AIRTEL is the worst telecom service provider. they say they are the no 1 in telecom , yes its true, in all fradulent activities, they teach other service providers how to E- PICKPOCKET customers money. if someone takes money from our pocket , we call it pickpocket.but AIRTEL after taking money from my mobile calls it DEBIT. THINK

    Hi all,
    I use airtel prepaid service, chennai. Today, I received a msg from airtel stating that sms booster service has been renewed which i had never asked for. The worst thing is that I m not able to contact the customer care executive through any of the numbers given by airtel. I m only getting connected to recorded voice directing me to various numbers which only talks about offers.
    When they can make so many promo calls and advertising calls to each customer everyday, cant they give us a number to contact the customer care executive?
    Is this done purposefully?

      Dear all,

      Chill out.. The problem with customer care, network, unnecessarily charging us, etc., etc., is every where with all.. Whether it be airtel, aircel, bsnl or anything. I have both airtel and aircel numbers, my dad had bsnl and my mother had tata indicom. Funny that all of them are providing same kinda service. Good or bad..
      Jus try to solve the problem in a chill way.. Nothing else can be done.

    shameless people…these airtel customer care…just shameless…i have already asked them to deactivate airtel 3G 2 months back…but im still getting bill for these 2 months….and when i called them to ask…these people say that they have no records of it….they dont send me the bills on time…and that too they send to the wrong email id…if i ask why they tell me its not our problem…its my problem it seems…

    i have not used the connection from a long time and iam getting wrongly charged bills…

    A short while ago (at 20:06 Hrs) today (10-11-2012) I received sms from AT-AIRINF which reads Thanks for Downloading Airtel Animation Value Pack_Rs from Airtel. You have been charged Rs.99.00. I am neither downloaded anything nor am I aware of such value pack, but I have been charged. This is unfair on the part of Airtel to wrongly charged their customer. Added to this, another irritation is, when I tried to contact Airtel customer care, when one to one call is requested, the call ends and am I unable to speak to them. It is high time that TRAI regulate this sort of malpractices by Mobile Operators. I am seriously thinking of breaking my long association (of 7 Years) with Airtel and change to some decent operator.

    Airtel service is the worst now, just inferior to reliance anyway. I bought a sim on 16th sept. and the validity got over on 15th sept. even though i submitted all the required docs. For some reason i cant even reach customer care. Whenever I call they give some stupid fixes which never works. And even hung up sometime without any proper reasoning. I had to suffer for hrs before getting the call. Seriously im pissed at airtel now.

    Hi , I have purchased an Airtel 3G data card on 29/06/2012 and submitted my below proof for activation. Till today it was not activated, and the response
    of the workers are very bad. Even though i have the instrument, can do nothing with it..simply have wasted Rs 1200.

    Purchased a Sim for my mother on urgent basis from Chennai Retailer. Sim got activated at the very moment of receiving all relevant documents from me. Few days later,Sim Which was purchased by me got deactivated despite finishing verification process from your mobile operator personnel. I cannot find the reason for it . Please help me now to activate this Mobile Number xx purchased for my mother. Kindly take required action on this and help us to bring this Sim in active mode as early as possible. Pls reply once it is done.

    This is the worst customer care in the world world….they can only boast that they are largest service providing company but soon they are going to lose many of their customers because of their poor response. I have recharged for 47 rs msg booster and after 2 days they are charging money,even the executives are not responding properly keeping the call hold for more than 10 min and disconnecting the call, when they cant sort out the problem of customers then whats the need for establishing customer care for name sake and appointing officials for that…Just fed up with this network, its all unnecessary tension apart from office work.

    huh!!!the worst ever network…have been trying to connect to customer care..but its always the bloody computerised stuff which irritates …havebeen trying for 2 days ..yet couldnt get hold even once…deducted money and the deactivate code doesnot work..what the hell is that for god only knows…am gonna shift to another network and airtel is becoming the most irresponsible network ever..i could kill the cutomer care executive if any one attends the call…am at the worst wrath of my life

    I recharged with 225 booster on 26.03.2012. But sms was charged as local – 0.75 and national – 1.50. No response from customer care!!!

    No doubt, Airtel’s customer service is the worst in the world. I was trying customer care staff for last 2 days, but the computerised process is not working properly. The worst and useless network is AIRTEL only no Doubt in this…i’m going to change my network to AIRCEL. Much better than Airtel, that is for sure.

    Two months back i activated net for 98 rs in my prepaid airtel connection. But now whenever i am browsing in my mobile, an amount is being deducted from my balance. When i am trying to speak to customer care, i am not able to speak, as the record voice is again going to main menu after it says the call is tranferring to cusomer care executive. I am getting irritated. I have spent 30 rs for this. What service are you providing. Why Airtel customer care behaves like that. If this continues, Airtel will lose all the customers.

    Your customer care staff gave me a Mobile no. (xx) to talk with senior officer but when i try to call (from 10:30AM to 5:30PM) I found the no. is out of service. My question is, why customer care exe. give us this type of no.?

    I am trying to contact your customer care number from my mobile number but some how i am not able to talk to any of the representative. I have a query, my airtel balance was 114 rs. till yesterday night when I slept. When i woke up in the morning i see there is only 14 rs. left in my account. Now I want to know where you have deducted my amount. For what you have charged me 100 rs. as such i do not have any services on my number. I want the clarification for the same.

    We are receiving bloody pesky calls from xx continuously on my mob no xx. We have sent many messages to 121 and 198 and other concerned numbers but there is no action from the service provider. After that they have started to deduct Rs. 1.5 to Rs.6 every day with a message that “you have been renewed for Romance pack 2685 subscription. When we have no time how the service provider can loot poor people? How many poor people who dont know english are becoming the victim this service provider?

    I am using your network for past 5 years. I am really satisfied with your network but now a days they are deducting money without any reasons.     I am a pre paid customer.My phone number is xx. I received a message saying that the games club subscription is active for my number at Rs. 5/per day and to unsubscribe SMS STOP to 121. On doing so I again got a message saying that there are no services active in my number. Where to clarify. I am not able to contact any customer care executive from 121 or 198. Please help.

    I call your prepaid customer care number past 10 days at every every hour. no body picking up my call. if you give service you have to clear customer query but very very worst service you are having. past 7 years i am using this network now a days very bad service given to customers.

    Why is your customer service bad when compared to other networks? My balance was deducted without reason and when ever i try to call 121 or 198 no calls get connected to agent …if u continue tise bad service surely you will loss all the customers to better networks..

    I am not satisfied with the customer care service at 121, 123 & 198, i am regularly in touch with these numbers since my prepaid balance is regularly reducing although i am not using this number (xx) for any purpose i.e outgoing nor i am using internet facilities.

    I am very annoyed with the Airtel network. They are deducting my balance without any notification. I just recharged my 10 rupee card and i swiched off my mobile but when i switched on my balance was 00. I am trying to reach the customer care since last one month. Don’t think that you have maximum subscribers and hence you are successful..please improve your customer care support..else face the wrath of people..

    I am a Airtel prepaid customer. My number is xx. Every day you are deduction the MMS Charge Rs.2/- for in my number. Please stop the MMS service. I dont want MMS. Please further action immediately and reply.

    i recharged my mobile with rs.56 for netpack(1 gb) with 15 days validity. I only get 450mb from 1 gb. This is bad. I try to call customer care, the machine says dial some *121*from airtel mobile to see..wats this?

    I have a pre-paid Airtel mobile no. (migrated from Aircel). I rarely use my mobile as I am 78 years old and use mostly my airtel landline/broad band connection.
    Yesterday afiter I made a call from my mobile, it showed a balance of Rs 190 and above. Today, when I dialed and talked to a number xx, it showed an balance of Rs 2.46 only.
    When I checked up the log of dialled numbers, I find an entry “ALEntertainment on 20th Nov at 3.59 PM, showing the number as 543212. I HAVE NOT DIALLED THIS NUMBER AT ALL. I
    I do not know, how suddenly the balance has come down from Rs 190 and above to Rs 2. 46 within 24 hours.
    Pl check up and reinstall the correct number.

    I am regular user of Airtel Service. Last month I had taken one new Airtel sim. I have used it for fifteen days thenafter my sim has been bared due non availability of identity proof. I have recharged my sim and presently balance available is about 238/-. On 8.11.2011, I have submitted my proof of identity( Photo, Ration Card copy) to Airtel service centre, Nagercoil for regularizing my sim but till now my sim is not activated.

    Your customer care is the worst in the world!. 3 weeks ago i called regarding a complaint about many useless offers being sent to my phone by sms.The customer care personnel told me that the problem would go away after 5 days.It is now 21 days and i still get these offers.I wake up in the morning and atleast 50 to 60 messages waiting for me. ALL OF THEM ARE FROM YOUR USELESS OFFERS. I call customer care but EVERYTIME IT IS BUSY. I DID NOT HAVE ANY OF THESE PROBLEMS WITH VODAFONE. In conclusion i just have to say that airtel is the most useless company i know. Planning to approach the consumer court for refund.

    On 3rd November 2011, i have activated internet for 5 rupees in my prepaid airtel connection and got 50 mb activation upto 4th November 2011, i have disconnected my mobile office at around 3 a.m. today, immediately when I checked my balance, full balance amount was deducted from my mobile. When i am trying to speak to customer care, no proper response from their side

    I have bought a airtel prepaid sim card (9940357***) on May 8th in poorvika mobiles MMDA , and it was activated on the same day . I also activated a rate cutter with 3 months validity ( call cost for A2A 10 ps and 18000 National sms free, other state airtel 50 ps ) and submitted all the required documents. within a week My sim said network registration failed and I contacted Poorvika the next day and asked them whether they submitted the required documents given to them. The store keeper even showed me their register in which your airtel executive have signed that he has received the documents. and they contacted their airtel contact point and informed this and had my number activated again .

    My questions
    -why was I not notified and given a time frame to provide documents before terminating my number.
    -why were your agents providing different answers every time, and they were rude on the customers
    - how many times you will verify my address within 40 days of purchasing the number
    - are you going to solve this issue and get my money back
