I am going through a horrible experience with the AVA app. At the time of booking my ticket was never received on email and I am following up for 2+ weeks but the status of my case remains as ‘Assigned’.
I have read many comments below and it seems that the Customer Service experience is terrible for many fliers.
Let’s hope Air Asia team reads this and they are able to review their resolution process.
Contacting AirAsia is one of the most difficult things nowadays! Talking with AVA by chat as AirAsia recommends is the same as talking with a ET or even worse!
I am trying to rebook my ticket because my flight has been cancelled. I tried through chatting with AVA. After a long chat when AVA asks me my Booking ref. and I entered it, AVA tells me that that Booking ref. Does not exist!!!! I have it in front of me in an e-mail sent by AirAsia.
Then tried to call main office Customer Care and message that I get is to go online and chat with AVA!
Trying to get in touch with AirAsia is the hardest thing I do in life.
Regarding my refund due to AirAsia flight cancellation, i wonder if there will be any refund at all.
My status remains at “in progress” via credit card. Just wonder will that be, any grace period???????
Pls give me any destination and final day, what’s your refund policy? Within 90 days or 100 days? It’s been 6 months now.

I have been trying to modify my booking for several days. It is just not possible to reach your customer service by phone at all !!!
Even your automated system has been down for days and i could not modify the dates of my flight.
The date of my flight is today and it will be a no show.
I understand your customer service is swamped because of the corona virus. I hope you will be able to modify later on with no charges as it is your fault for not been able to change the booking, even before the 48h cut off date.
I booked a flight from Phuket to CNX for 21 April. The payment went through – my bank confirmed and you took the money – but your system says it failed. So I have no ticket and no 6 character booking reference. All I have is this number – 9272079154. I want the flight confirmed or my money back.
I have tried AVA and Allstar many times. They don’t understand and just go round and round in circles. I emailed your company but it bounced back undeliverable. And when I call the number on your website it redirects me back to AVA/Allstar. It is a terrible system.

I have been flying with you for the past few months. Every time I board an aircraft all the other passengers carry on well over the 7Kg limit. I have photos of proof. In particular one passenger was carrying a well oversized bag and two other bags and a laptop bag. I find this practice to be against air regulations and it also causes discomfort to passenger embarking and disembarking. I would like to know why this practice is happening. Air Asia has changed my flights dates and times for our holiday in Japan we had planned in November 2018 of both me and my girlfriend without notifying us of this change neither over the phone nor via e-mail !!!

I live in the UK and am trying to claim a refund on taxes for a flight I did not take from DMK to Narita on 21 December. My booking reference is L8DU3Y.
The fact that it is impossible to contact Air Asia online- the form comes up as a dud every time I try to access it- suggests that the airline is totally unconcerned with issuing refunds or providing service to passengers such as myself. I tried phoning about this issue before and spent a lot of money without any help.
I flew with Air Asia on another date and may fly with them again simply because they are so cheap but I am very disappointed.
We purchased Air Asia tickets online to fly from Siem Reap Cambodia to Chiang Mai Thailand. When we checked in at the airport we were told our tickets did not include luggage. We had four bags and they made us pay $288 US to get our bags on the plane. This also happened to at least two other groups on the same flight. The tickets did not say baggage was not included. We has no choice put to pay the money if we wanted on the plane. Big thumbs down for Air Asia and their extortion.
