I was coming from Netherland to Canada on Jan 09, 2013. When I checked in my baggage, I asked British Airways’s agent whether I can take two hand bags inside. She looked at them and said “YES” but at boarding another agent stopped me and did not let me go in until I paid 40 Euro. This is the first time, I purchased ticket with British Airways, and I am sure will be the last one.
Their agents are rude and aggressive.

I took flight#BA 99 from London on October 29. I left my very comfortable black neck pillow in seat 35E. If anyone turned it in I would very much appreciate having it back. Thank you

My daughter Paula intended to come to Nigeria from Canada on the 17th of July, 2012. She bought a British Airways (BA) Flight Ticket with the following details:

    1. Date issued: 29th June, 2012.
    2. Electrionic Ticket No: 1259481277975
    3. Record Locator 1A/297H37
    4: Depature Date: 16th July, 2012 (Toronto)
    5. Arrival Date: 17th July, 2012 (Lagos, Nigeria)
    6. Flight departure/destination: Toronto (YYZ) – London (LHR) – Lagos (LOS).

Whilst she was checking in at the Toronto Airport on the 16th July, 2012 to board the flight, the flight attendant at the check in counter refused to chech her in to board the flight. She was told by the check in officer that she needed a UK Transit Visa to board the flight because the Plane would stop over in London. She was however, requested to process a transit visa from the UK Embassy in Canada ro enable her board the airline at a later date. To enable her obtain the Visa, she has requested that BA re-issue her fight ticket to enable her present the ticket to the UK Embassy to obtain the needed Transit Visa so she can travel to Nigeria.

She has also presented her case through her Canadian Ticketing Agent to British Airways upon the advise of BA officials at the Toronto (YYZ) Airport. I will be grateful and appreciate you resolve this issue soonest and re-issue her ticket to enable her present same to the UK Embassy. The immediate resolution of the matter will be highly appreciate as she is currently stranded in Canada.

    Thank you.

My wife and I reached Edmonton, Canada on April 23, 2012 from New Delhi, India. We boarded flght number BA256 from New Delhi but this flight was running behind schedule. We were re-routed from New Delhi itself by British Airways representative on a British Airways Flight BA103 to Calgary instead of Air Canada AC 899 from London to Edmonton. We had to pay extra 40.00 G.B.P for one extra baggage. Had we come by Air Canada, this amount was legitimate but because of this re routing, we came in British Airways, we should not have been charged this amount. We were advised by your representative to apply for a refund on reaching our destination for this amount. We have a receipt of this payment and can provide you proof if so required . Kindly re-imburse us with this amount.

    Thanks,

    Surinder and Gurmeet Tiwana
