I travelled on airindia flight on 26th of august,2012 from hyderabad to pune. I happend to misplace my boarding pass. I am expected to submit a boarding pass along with the ticket to get the flight fare reimbursed by my company. Is there any other go where i can request to get the proof of travel or a duplicate boarding pass for the journey?
My flight from HYD-DEL-GAU was booked on 03/12/2012 vide PNR HY31J but DEL-GAU flight being cancelled was rescheduled for 04/12/2012. I was asked to take the reimbursement of Taxi fare for to-and-fro to airport by the Air India duty manager at the airport.
Accordingly I had availed Dot Cab services and on submission of vouchers for the taxi fare along with photocopy of both the tickets and forwarding letter it was informed that I have been over charged and the matter will be looked into and sorted out with Dot Cab and the reimbursement will be made and shall be informed in a day or two.
Now, it is almost 10 days but no response in spite of your office having my postal address, mobile no. and e-mail ID. Ny amount of Rs.5,170/- is held up for reimbursement by the Air India airport authorities who had assured that the amount will paid through their Tezpur office.
Sir, One Travel agent cheated us by booking an International Ticket from Hyderabad to New York in Air India without checking the ‘expiry date’ of my 2 children’s pass-port.(We had sent the copy of all the 4 pass ports to the agent). Thus we lost more than Rs-10,0000/- The tragedy was so painful that we could know about it only at the time of ” checking- in”time. We had to rush for another new pass-port since the old one was taken from kerala. Anyway we got a new one within 5 days and could travel in Air India again to New York. Tell me what can I do?
Dear Sir/Madam,
Please tell me how to get a fare estimate certificate of Air India for the sector Delhi-Hyderabad one way only. I would be thankful to you.
This is to bring to your kind notice, that I have been a frequent flyer of Air India and especially in the Hyderabad Kolkata sector, since years.
What if I ask do you train your team as an individual or do you train them being a team.
This time while flying from Kolkata to Hyderabad 27th April, 2021 7:00 p.m. on AI 526 the ground staff we met just before boarding the aero bridge misbehaved very rude, weird, and loud.
I did request initially but had to Retaliate to their inhospitable behaviour.
While collecting the boarding pass and giving our luggage at the counter I mentioned that my bag has a laptop (Mac Air), on being asked for any electronic items / power banks /batteries .
They did not object then and my baggage was sent for screening inside.
On reaching your aerobridge while registering our presence to the ground staff at 6:10 p.m., they gave me a declaration form to fill as I had some electronic device in the baggage.
I requested if I could check back as there was time in hand the ground staff lady fumed.
She said she couldn’t and we are illiterates and do not know how to travel ! I would get the baggage in the next flight only.
I have other valuables in the bag , hence was worried.
So as a request I again requested if something could be done. Especially during Corona times would be difficult for us to collect again.
I just mentioned on the declaration form that even after mentioning on the counter why am I being questioned now,
She shouted on me saying all this is of no use and I can’t write on the paper.
I was shocked if the form does not carry a value, what is the use ? on asking who should I blame she yelled it is not her fault. I was furious on being said – kahaan kahaan se AA jate Hain.
What if I ask do you train your team as an individual or do you train them being a team.
I have been following up for my refund since 2nd April 2021. I cancelled my flights for 4th April because I was COVID infected and I had to cancel my both flights from Hyderabad to Delhi and Delhi to Kathmandu. The customer care executives are not well versed in answering the customer request as they only give the same answer saying they will just take the request to refund on priority and refund team don’t have any contact number so you need to wait until 7-12 days, but every time I wait for this period and call them back, they have the same answer.
Don’t know where to escalate and how to detail. Sometimes after 5-6 follow-ups they misguide to check with the local air India office. In my city there is lockdown and am unable to reach personally to any office nor anyone at air India office answers the calls.
I’ve booked my ticket from Toronto, canada to Hyderabad, India on May 9th which have been cancelled by the airlines itself twice, that’s when I requested for refund. However, customer service has suggested me to email to [email protected] for the refund request from which I’ve never received a reply. I have requested for the refund prior a month but the customer service has promised to refund in 21business days which I’ve never got. I’ve been calling customer service every week to know about my refund I spoke with 7 different agents. Every single gave me the same answer stating that you will receive your refund in 7business days which I’ve receive though. I would like to suggest airindia to train their customer care agents to teach them customer service etiquettes first. They were rude and none of them has proper information they keep on saying I’ll receive a call back from refund team which never exists nor I received a call back. I have never get to talk to any of the supervisors or the proper authorities as there was no particular contact info given on airindia website except the customer service which is useless.
