About Air India / Indian Airlines
Based in Mumbai, Indian Airlines is a state owned major airline that is managed by the Ministry of Civil Aviation. In the year 2005, Indian Airlines was rebranded as Indian. Kochi Air India booking office staff in MG Road religiously follows their lunch time. I suggest the lunch time be staggered so that some one is always at the counter as other pvt airlines do.
Also good parking space may be created in front with minor modifications. Very difficult to go there in car without parking arrangement.

We had a valid ticket to N Delhi for AI-47 from Cochin, scheduled for 15th May 20.00hrs. We reported for boarding by 19.10 and was informed that the the counter is closed . I contacted the personnel at the office near the check in counter . He took the ticket print out and went inside and returned after about 10minutes to tell us that nothing is possible. Another passenger also joined us and he was also denied travel . We had reported within the stipulated time of 45 minutes and fail to understand the reason for the refusal of check in. PNR No.YHQ8M and ticket nos are 0989261253881 and 0989261253882
Dear Sirs
My wife and I were travelling on your flight AI 48 of 23 January 2019 from Cochin to Trivandrum. We had some difficulty finding our seats. When we found them and finally settled down, my wife could not find the left half of her seat-belt. She groped for it and I tried to help her but we were unsuccessful. The plane was about to take off. A passenger sitting next to me called the crew. A female came up to us and groped for the left half of the seat-belt ineffectually. Finally, she withdrew telling my wife, “Udhar neeche dekho” I shouted to her that it should be “dekhiye” and not “dekho”. We have been flying all over the world for the last 50 years (I am 82). We have never been spoken to like that by an air hostess. The formula is always, “dekhiye” “bandhlijiye” “rekhen” and so on. “dekho” is imperative and unsuitable to an air-hostess. This one quickly disappeared not caring whether the left half of the seat-belt had been found and she never showed up again.
Now, I shall describe the offending air-hostess: the plane had only two air-hostesses and they were at the rear of the plane most of the time. Both were tall and good-looking. One was fair and the other was dark. The dark one was the problem. I think she owes us an apology for using bazaar language while on duty and serving us. What happened to all her training?
